| Located in the heart of the Scottish Borders near the town of Innerleithen, Traquair House is an ideal wedding venue offering a beautiful romantic setting in which to have your special day. Traquair House has the flexibility to offer either a religious or civil ceremony depending on which you prefer. The religious ceremony will be set in the stunning 18th century catholic chapel, it will provide a romantic an intimate venue and will comfortably seat up to 50 guests.
Or you may wish to have a civil ceremony in a one of the many designated rooms of Traquair House including the 18th century Dining Room, Lower Drawing Room or High Drawing Room. Each room will have its unique style and size, so the number of guests may determine your choice of venue. |
| You can also take advantage of the lovely grounds and beautiful setting and have the wedding ceremony conducted in the Yew Tree Circle, Walled Garden or Traquair Maze to name a few. |
| After your special wedding ceremony, having your reception at Traquair House will be the perfect choice, and you can again book a choice of rooms, or opt for a marquee in the glorious gardens and dance well into the night. There is a number of different wedding reception packages available, so you can choose to have an intimate private meal with a few family and friends, or go for something on a larger scale to include welcome drinks and selection of canapés. Whatever your choice, Traquair House prides itself on providing the best menu choices using the freshest ingredients that will have been locally sourced by suppliers. |
